Job Description
We’re currently looking for a Senior Dev-Ops Engineer to join the team of a fast-growing Software Design & Engineering Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools.
- Experience with systems and IT operations.
- Being comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.
- Experience in security, user management and Linux administration.
- Experience in monitoring and logging tools.
- Experience in Bash scripting and/ or CI/CD tools.
- Data management skills.
- Understanding and focusing on business outcomes.
- Understanding and efficiency in collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required).
- Strong experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus too since we also use Redis).
- A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python).
- knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
Mandatory Requirement
- BSc in Computer Science or Equivalent.
Minimum Experience
- 3+ years of experience in the Dev-Ops industry.
