Senior Test Automation Engineer

Job Description

A rapidly growing Wagering Tech company in Australia is actively looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineers with solid experience in testing React Native mobile applications to be a part of their growing talent pool in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests for
  • React Native-based mobile applications, using tools such as Detox, Appium and other JavaScript based testing frameworks.
  • React JS based Web applications using tools such as playwright and cypress with BDD.
  • .NET based APIs.
• Maintain and update automated test suites to ensure they are functioning as expected.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure that new features and changes to the application are properly tested.
• Debug and resolve issues with automated tests, and provide support to other team members as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and testing methodologies related to React Native, cloud and test automation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on the design and implementation of automated tests.
• Execute Automated tests and analyze results to identify if failed test cases are a result of a system defect or Automation test script error and rectify as needed
• Work as a software developer in test.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of React Native and its associated technologies.
• Experience with test automation frameworks, such as Appium and Detox.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, such as unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Experience with Git and other version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
