Senior Software Engineer (PHP/ Vue.js)

We’re currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (PHP/ Vue.js) to join the team of a fast-growing R&D Tech Company.

Role Profile

• 5+ years’ experience in developing enterprise-level systems as a full stack developer.
• Expert level knowledge in Vue JS and Symfony or similar PHP framework such as Laravel.
• An understanding for employing SOLID principles when writing OOP code.
• Expert level knowledge of writing unit tests and testable code.
• Willingness to collaborate and take part in code reviews.
• The desire to design and implement high-quality solutions with a focus on maintainability and extensibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop appropriate solutions in code maintaining style and test coverage standards.
• Work with our Head of Development to collaboratively design software solutions for work items.
• Work closely with our testers to resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Liaise with users of the systems to ensure that solutions are fit for purpose.
• Communicate progress on work items and deal with blocking issues in a timely manner.
