QA Lead

We're currently looking for a QA Lead to join the team of a fast-growing R&D Tech Company.

Role

• Define QA strategy, approach and execution in software projects to meet and exceed company quality goals.
• Lead/contribute to software quality efforts from design to implementation, solving complex QA challenges around software engineering quality and velocity.
• Design and build advanced automated build, test and release infrastructure for Web, Backend Services, Mobile & Windows applications with/without connected IoT sensor hardware.
• Drive adoption of best practices in functional, automation, performance, security and maintainability of software systems.
• Analyse and decompose complex software systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence design for testability.
• Continuously monitor software quality and generate quality matrix reporting.
• Help to onboard, train and mentor new or existing QA members in the team.

Qualifications and Experience

• BSc. in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent professional qualification.
• 10+ years of software QA experience and managed a QA team for at least 3+ years.
• Excellent fundamental knowledge of Quality Assurance concepts / methodologies.
• Worked with at least one web automation framework (Selenium / WebDriver, Cypress, Puppeteer) & one mobile automation framework (Appium, XCUITest)
• Worked with different quality aspects of software – Automation, Performance, Security
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and debugging software issues.
• Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally (outsourcing).
• Good command of English, written and spoken.
• Enjoy working in agile, multi-cultural environment and able to work with minimum supervision
• Developed automation frameworks from scratch.
